The challenge
Green-building projects have to prove what a building actually consumes. Readings sat in each meter vendor’s own portal, and the reports a rating authority asks for were put together by hand.
What we built
Admin and client portals
Organisations, projects, buildings and devices, with each client seeing only its own data.
Meter data
Readings pulled on a schedule from the energy and water meter vendors’ platforms, and a secure MQTT broker ready for direct gateway feeds.
Reports and alerts
Monthly, custom and annual reports as PDF and Excel, with targets and alerts.
Authority API
An API for the GRIHA rating authority, protected by an API key and an IP allow-list.
Outcome
- Live since September 2026 and onboarding its first sites
- Energy and water readings for every building in one place
